Facebook Business Page Tips and Tricks 2017
Facebook Business Page Tips and Tricks 2017:
Over 1.5 Billion people use Facebook. Get ready for some marketing tools.
FACEBOOK PAGE VS. FACEBOOK BUSINESS PAGE
Most people use facebook as a platform for connecting and engaging with friends regarding things that are happening in their lives. Posts can include anything from something cool, sad, funny or hateful found on the internet to the most important things going on in your life such as a wedding announcement, pictures, etc.
A personal facebook account must be verified with your phone number, email, Date of Birth, etc. Facebook truly wants to know that you are a real person, and will verify in this manner.
Facebook also allows you to open a Business page for a number of reasons with the 6 different options show you below.
In order to create a Facebook Business Page, you must first create a personal Facebook page. From here, you can open up facebook and click on the upper right bar and navigate to “Create Page”.
From here, you are given the option of choosing which type of Business page you would like to set up.
After choosing the cause or Business that you are interested in, Facebook will bring you to an empty page with the title of your new Facebook blog.

TIP #4: Update your About Page and Edit your @username
Make sure that you edit and update your about page. Before someone will become a part of your page, they will read your About page to find out if you have the following:
- phone number
- start date
- your story
Create a catchy username so that your business will be easy for other business’s and customers know how to reach you.
TIP #5: Schedule Posts at least 2 X per day
Everyone knows there are apps like buffer and MeetEdgar to schedule your posts for you, but did you know that you can schedule your posts on Facebook?
For each business, I would say that posting should be done at least 2X per day, so that your clients know that you are out there.
Being able to schedule your posts for future dates can actually eliminate the need for using paid apps unless you are posting to multiple social media accounts.
TIP #6: Check your Facebook Insights Often
Facebook insights provides invaluable information about the posts you are sending out as well as your audience growth.
This information will let you know the following:
- page likes
- Post Engagements – how many people clicked
- page followers
- page previews
This information is important for you to check often so you know how many people are seeing the posts you are creating.
TIP #7: Try Out Facebook Advertising
If you have a business and you are checking your stats, and you are not getting any engagements, likes, etc, then it may be valuable for you to try out facebook advertising.
Facebook Advertising will help you reach more people, gain more followers/likes, and eventually get you more sales.
Remember the saying:
You’ve got to be seen by many people in order to sell to many people, and it’s not always about having a great product, but it is about marketing that product.
